Cal Phil 2014 Season: John Williams & Friends
Imagineall the people sharing Cal Phil in peace… Our season opens with music by two titans of the art. We start out with Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, a piece that changed the course of music. A musical depiction of heroism celebrating a great man, Beethoven was inspired by the ideals of the French Revolution, “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity” to compose one of his greatest musical masterworks. Jumping forward about 150 years, we find The Beatles blazing a similar trail of musical discovery with songs like A Day In The Life, Eleanor Rigby and I Am The Walrus. Our Beatles tribute artists will take you back to Penny Lane and make sure the one you love is near When I’m 64. With a concert like that, you know you will be glad.
